Australian .au domain names can be transferred at no cost if they have more than 3 months still remaining on the current registration period. If they are within 3 months of the renewal date you will need to renew the domains for the normal 2 year period as part of the transfer process.
Other domain TLDs such as .com and .net domains require a minimum of one additional year of registration to be added to the existing registration period as part of the transfer process.
If your domain transfer is not successful, any fees paid in relation to the transfer process will be refunded to your credit card.
In order to transfer your domains to Aussie-Domains, you will need to set your domains to Unlocked status at your current registrar (not applicable for some TLDs), you will need to have access to the Domain Name Auth Password, and have access to the primary domain name registrant email address to authorise the transfer.
